Auto-send what you trust. Approve what you want to see.
Every reply category in your Unified Inbox is either Auto-send or Require Approval. Drafts that need a human wait in one queue. Clear it from the app, from Slack, or through the MCP connector.
Uncategorized replies wait by default. Nothing goes out blind.

"This looks interesting. What does pricing look like for a team of eight?"
Hey Jordan, eight seats puts you on our Team plan. Happy to walk you through it on a quick call. Does Thursday at 10:30 or Friday at 2:00 work?

Drag categories between buckets in the Launch step.
Humans where you want them
Inbox agents answer most replies on their own in under 5 minutes. The ones you want to see first should not sit in a queue nobody checks.
Per category, not all or nothing
In the Launch step of each inbox agent, drag reply categories between two buckets: Auto-send and Require Approval. Let pricing questions and objections go out on their own. Keep Interested replies for a human if you want eyes on every hot lead.
Uncategorized waits by default
A reply the agent cannot classify with confidence does not get a guess. It goes to the approval queue so a human decides, and Slack gets an Agent needs attention alert. Nothing is sent blind.
Approve from the app, Slack, or MCP
The queue lives in the Underfive app. The same draft lands in your Slack channel with Approve and Edit buttons, on desktop and mobile. Or list pending approvals and clear them from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client through the Underfive connector.
Sent from the original sender
Approve as-is or edit the draft first. Either way the reply goes out through the tool and inbox that received the message, so Email Bison, Smartlead, Instantly, or PlusVibe keeps the thread and the deliverability.
Auto mode, Human Approval mode, or a mix
The setting is per category and per inbox agent, so you can run a new client on full approval while a mature one runs on auto.
Auto mode
Inbox agents reply to every classified lead in under 5 minutes, 24 hours a day. Uncategorized replies go to the queue by default.
Best once you trust the knowledge base and have watched the agent for a while. Many teams start elsewhere and move here.
Human Approval mode
Every draft waits for a person. You read the prospect's message and the draft side by side, then approve, edit, or reject.
Replies go out as fast as your team clears the queue. Good for a first week, a new client, or a sensitive offer.
Per-category mix
Auto-send the categories you trust, such as pricing and product questions. Require approval on Interested so a human sees every hot lead before the reply goes out.
- Routine categories go out in under 5 minutes
- Interested waits for a human
- Uncategorized goes to the queue by default
- Change the mix any time per agent
Three places to clear the queue
One queue, wherever your team already is. Approve in one, and it clears everywhere.
In the app
The approval queue shows every waiting draft across every workspace and client. Open one, read the thread, approve, edit, or reject.
From Slack
Each workspace posts to its own channel. The draft arrives next to the prospect's message with Approve and Edit buttons. Works on desktop and mobile Slack.
Through MCP
Connect the Underfive MCP connector to Claude, Cursor, Codex, or any MCP client. List pending approvals, read the draft, and approve or reject without opening a tab.
Approvals FAQ
Do the agents send replies without me seeing them?
Only for the reply categories you set to Auto-send. Anything set to Require Approval, and anything the agent cannot classify, waits in the approval queue. You can approve from the app, from Slack, or through the MCP connector.
How do I choose which replies need approval?
In the Launch step of your inbox agent setup, drag each reply category between the Auto-send bucket and the Require Approval bucket. Each inbox agent has its own settings, so a new client can run with full approval while a mature one runs on auto.
What is the difference between Auto mode and Human Approval mode?
Auto mode sends every classified reply automatically. Human Approval mode holds every draft for review before it goes out. Most teams mix the two: auto-send the routine categories and require approval on Interested.
What happens to a reply the agent cannot classify?
It is marked Uncategorized and goes to the approval queue by default. If Slack is connected you get an Agent needs attention notification. A human decides what to send.
Can I edit a draft before approving it?
Yes. In the app or in Slack, click Edit, change the draft, and send it. The edited reply goes out through the tool and sender that received the original message.
Can I approve replies from Slack?
Yes. When an inbox agent drafts a reply in a category set to Require Approval, Underfive posts the draft to your Slack channel with Approve and Edit buttons. Approve sends the reply through the tool and sender that received the original message.
Can I approve replies through MCP?
Yes. The Underfive MCP connector surfaces every reply waiting on a human. You can list pending approvals, read the draft, and approve or reject from Claude, Cursor, Codex, or any MCP client.
Do auto-sent replies show up anywhere?
Yes. For categories set to Auto-send, Underfive can post the prospect's message and the reply that went out to Slack, so the team sees what was sent without approving each one. Every reply is also in the Unified Inbox.
